Tottenham keen on Jarrod Bowen, Crysencio Summerville
Tottenham are plotting a tricky double raid on West Ham United for influential attacking duo Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville.
According to Sports Boom, Crysencio Summerville and Jarrod Bowen are firmly on the radar of Tottenham ahead of the summer. The north Londoners are angling for a tricky double raid on West Ham United for their influential attacking duo in the summer, although any move or stay will depend on either team’s ability to stay afloat in the Premier League.
Tottenham have found themselves in a precarious position with regard to the Premier League relegation battle. There is a realistic chance they might go down, and with that, all their plans for the upcoming summer window are certainly about to go out of the window.
However, if they miraculously maintain their top-flight status, Spurs could be aggressive in the transfer market in the summer. Currently, Spurs are seen as one of the likeliest teams to go down, and should that happen, the likes of West Ham and Nottingham Forest will survive, considering Burnley and Wolves are certain for the drop.
Speaking of West Ham, they are currently a point behind Spurs in the standings, and now the north Londoners are targeting their attacking duo, Crysencio Summerville and Jarrod Bowen. The latter was a target for Tottenham in January, but the Hammers had no plans to part ways with their skipper at a crucial point of their season.
Bowen has a long-term contract at West Ham, and he could consider an exit if the club suffers relegation. Hence, Spurs or any other interested party will get their chance to sign Bowen in the summer, but the north Londoners will only have the opportunity if they survive.
Tottenham to sign West Ham duo?
Summerville has emerged as a target for Spurs, as they could aggressively move for the Dutch attacker in the summer. Tottenham have a big problem in the wide attacking areas, meaning the club’s idea of pursuing the Hammers duo makes complete sense with regards to their squad building.
Should Spurs manage to stay up, signing Summerville and Bowen would fortify their wide areas with players of top quality. For the duo, the current priority would align with helping West Ham in the relegation battle, and should they succeed, it would automatically rule out a move to north London.
