Leeds United run rule over Kasper Hogh and Jens Petter Hauge

Leeds United will reportedly look to sign Kasper Hogh and Jens Petter Hauge from Norwegian outfit Bodo/Glimt in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Jens Petter Hauge and Kasper Hogh are the subjects of interest from Leeds United. The Whites are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a versatile attacker in the summer transfer window. So, the Bodo/Glimt duo has emerged on the West Yorkshire club’s wishlist.

Jens Petter Hauge has resurrected his stuttering fortunes since joining Bodo/Glimt from Eintracht Frankfurt. Once a player for AC Milan, the 26-year-old could not become a pivotal figure for the Rossoneri and had to wait until returning to his homeland to come close to fulfilling his immense potential.

The Norwegian international has been excellent since Bodo/Glimt returned to action, scoring seven goals and providing six assists in 15 appearances thus far. Meanwhile, unlike Jens Petter Hauge, Kasper Hogh has never played for an overseas club in his professional career thus far.

The 25-year-old striker has been with Bodo/Glimt since January 2024, and he has made considerable progress in the last two years. However, like his teammate, Hogh has been superb this year, scoring six goals and providing four assists in 14 appearances across all competitions. Meanwhile, the duo’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs, including Leeds United.

Leeds United’s interest in Jens Petter Hauge and Kasper Hogh is understandable. The Whites are scouring the market for versatile attackers heading into the summer transfer window, as Daniel Farke wants more firepower in the final third.

Several wide attackers, including Femi Azeez, have thus emerged on Leeds United’s wishlist, with Hauge also a viable target. As for pursuing Hogh in the summer transfer window, Joel Piroe will likely depart from Elland Road in the summer transfer window. Many strikers, including Troy Parrott, are thus on Leeds United’s wishlist, with Hogh also an option worth considering.

The West Yorkshire outfit recently dispatched scouts to watch Hauge and Hogh in the UEFA Champions League clash with Sporting CP, which Bodo/Glimt won comprehensively. With the duo impressing in their European outings, it will be interesting to see if they reunite with Leeds United.
