Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City interested in Chema Andres, face Real Madrid threat

Stuttgart’s Chema Andres is attracting significant attention in the market from top teams, including Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City.

According to Team Talk, Chema Andres is on the list of some of the top Premier League teams, such as Arsenal, Manchester City and Manchester United. Stuttgart are aware of the growing admiration following his breakthrough season in Germany, but Real Madrid seemingly hold all the cards over the future of the 20-year-old Bundesliga midfielder.

Real Madrid have made some smart decisions when it comes to selling promising talents from Castilla. In recent years, they have enjoyed success in the market when selling players from their youth set-up, with the likes of Nico Paz and Jacobo Ramon exemplifying that approach.

Real Madrid have modest buy-back clauses in both their contracts at Como, which seemingly gives them total control over their futures. In a similar move, the Spanish giants have ensured they have control over Chema Andres, the 20-year-old Bundesliga midfielder who has had a breakthrough season with Stuttgart.

Following his modest sale for around £2 million in the summer, Real Madrid can re-sign him relatively cheaply if they wish. While they are seeking a new midfielder of his profile, the Spanish giants are ready to allow Andres to move to another club, provided they are able to retain a modest buy-back clause in his contract.

That alone would dissuade some of his Premier League suitors from making a move, with Manchester United seen as one of the key parties in the race. Arsenal and Manchester City are also interested, although both clubs boast one of the best holding midfielders in their squads currently.

Chema Andrss to leave Stuttgart?

Manchester United might be showing an interest, but they may not do a deal that gives Real Madrid more power over the player’s future. They have a strong shortlist of midfield targets, which may force them to look away from the 20-year-old Bundesliga midfielder if the conditions set by Real Madrid do not change.

As for Manchester City and Arsenal, they too might walk away from the pursuit if the conditions do not suit them. Andres might see an opportunity to shine elsewhere, but for the moment he may be happy with the progress he has made in Stuttgart’s first team, where he has become a key member.
