AC Milan want €70-80 million for Christian Pulisic amid Premier League links
AC Milan are set to demand at least €70-80 million for Christian Pulisic in the summer amid links to the Premier League.
According to Caught Offside, Christian Pulisic remains linked with a move back to the Premier League, with a host of clubs showing eagerness to bring him back. AC Milan are seemingly open to the idea of a sale, but will demand at least €70-80 million to offload the USMNT star.
Christian Pulisic has been one of AC Milan’s influential players since making his move there from Chelsea a few years back. While being a key star for the Rossoneri, the USMNT star has also established himself as a mainstay for his national side.
At the back of another consistent season for AC Milan, there are links to a return to the Premier League, with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool remaining linked. Whether those teams, particularly the Gunners, are serious about signing him. The question remains, especially after the report stated a high asking price that AC Milan might demand.
The Rossoneri are seeking at least €70-80 million to sell Pulisic, which could enable them to use the funds to strengthen their squad in the market. Whether that price is realistic enough to attract suitors is the big question here, as those interested parties may only agree to pay much less.
Manchester United are also being linked with Pulisic, but they are looking at stars like Iliman Ndiaye over others. It may be the case that the 27-year-old AC Milan star could be a contingent option for the Red Devils, but paying as much as €70-80 million might not tempt Manchester United into making a move.
Will AC Milan reduce Pulisic’s asking price?
Tottenham are also interested in Pulisic as they will enter the summer window in search of players that may help them grow ahead. Given that the north Londoners are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League, considering their league position at the moment, the chances of landing Pulisic may diminish, given that other Champions League teams will be interested in the 27-year-old AC Milan star.
For AC Milan to have a realistic chance of managing a big sale, they may have to reduce the asking price by a significant sum. The attacker might be open to the idea of playing in England again, but much will depend on the interested teams, as the chances of Manchester United or Arsenal making a move seem to be remote.
