Former Marseille managers feature high on Tottenham’s managerial shortlist

Two former Olympique de Marseille managers are high on Tottenham Hotspur’s shortlist to replace Thomas Frank, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano.

Frank joined Spurs back in the summer, but his tenure was cut short earlier this week, with the club mired in a relegation battle. The Premier League side are now in the market for a successor and they have set their sights on two former Marseille managers.

Romano understands that Tottenham Hotspur have made contact with Igor Tudor, who has been out of work since leaving Juventus earlier in the season. He is being considered as an interim option, but OM are also interested in the Croat, who had a previous spell at the Vélodrome, as per RMC Sport.

In terms of more long-term options, Roberto De Zerbi is being considered. The Italian departed Marseille by mutual consent on Tuesday. He features high on the shortlist, as does a former Spurs manager, Mauricio Pochettino.
