Besiktas reach an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool’s Kostas Tsimikas

According to a report from Foot Mercato, Besiktas have reached an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas (26). The Greek international is currently on loan at Roma despite the agreement with the Turkish Super League club.

Whilst Besiktas have managed to convince Tsimikas of a move to Istanbul, there are still two other parties that need convincing before a move can be completed. Roma would need to agree to terminate the 26-year-old’s loan move early and allow him to return to Liverpool. Additionally, the Premier League champions would need to agree to the conditions of the loan move.

Besiktas considering other options to Tsimikas

The Premier League winner is not the only reinforcement that the Turkish club are considering for the left-back position. Foot Mercato understands that they have also reached an agreement with Nuno Tavares, and the club will make a decision on who to sign within the next 48 hours.
