Radu Dragusin’s agent attempting to engineer Tottenham exit
Milan are keeping the door open for Radu Dragusin in the final days of the January window, though the operation remains entirely dependent on a change of heart from Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Daniele Longo, the Rossoneri sporting director Igli Tare has been in direct contact with the Romanian defender’s representative to gauge the feasibility of a move. However, a significant stalemate exists regarding the transfer formula. So far, Spurs have remained inflexible, demanding either a permanent sale or a loan deal with a mandatory purchase obligation.
This rigid stance is precisely why Milan have yet to open formal negotiations with the London club. The Rossoneri management are only interested in a loan until the end of the season and are currently relying on Dragusin’s agent to lobby Tottenham and soften their position.
The player is keen on the move, as he is searching for more consistent game time to aid his full recovery following a long-term knee injury. While Dragusin is not Milan’s primary target, he remains a strategic last-minute card that Tare could play if his entourage successfully manages to shift Tottenham’s perspective toward a temporary exit.
