Marseille open to Robinio Vaz January sale amid Premier League interest
It could be a busy January transfer window for Olympique de Marseille, especially in terms of sales. Angel Gomes, despite only arriving in the summer on a free transfer, is already being linked with a move away from the Vélodrome, having struggled to replicate the kind of form that earned him a place in the England squad while he was at Lille OSC.
However, the club are also open to sales for some of their academy products. Darryl Bakola is one of those to have broken through this season. The forward even started against Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League, but if he does not respond favourably to his contract extension offer, he could depart.
Robinio Vaz could leave, too, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The centre-forward has been used as a super-sub so far this season, scoring four goals in 19 games. But OM are willing to listen to offers for Vaz in January. Under contract until 2028, he is being followed by clubs in the Premier League and in the Bundesliga.
