Official | Marseille sign new 15-year Stade Vélodrome occupancy agreement
Olympique de Marseille have reached an agreement with the City of Marseille on a new 15-year convention governing the use of the Orange Vélodrome.
The new deal replaces the existing stadium arrangement and sets out revised operating conditions between the club and the municipality. According to a statement published by OM, the agreement provides a clearer and more sustainable framework for the stadium’s use, following recommendations issued at ministerial level and by the regional chamber of accounts.
The convention allows Marseille to begin phased investment in the stadium, including work aimed at improving supporter access, safety measures and the wider use of the venue beyond matchdays. Any developments will be introduced progressively over the duration of the agreement.
