Crystal Palace need to pay big money to sign Christos Tzolis

Crystal Palace can only sign 23-year-old Greek international Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge in the winter transfer window if they pay a big-money fee to the Belgian club.

According to a report by Het Nieuwsblad, as relayed by Sport Witness, Christos Tzolis is the subject of interest from Crystal Palace. The Eagles are eager to reinforce their offensive unit by signing a versatile attacker in the winter transfer window. So, the 23-year-old Club Brugge winger has emerged as a target for the South London outfit.

The 2024/25 FA Cup winners are intensifying their efforts to sign the Thessaloniki native in the coming weeks. However, Club Brugge will only part ways with Tzolis if they receive a big-money fee, as they are reluctant to sell him midway through the 2025/26 season. Meanwhile, the young winger is open to joining Crystal Palace, having adopted the same stance in the summer transfer window.

Who is Christos Tzolis?

Christos Tzolis is part of the promising new generation from Greece, with the country producing many prodigies in the last few years. The 23-year-old spent most of his formative years in his homeland and graduated from the youth division at hometown club PAOK Thessaloniki. However, the youngster has risen in prominence during his spell with Club Brugge.

The Greek international has been with the Belgian club since July 2024, and he has been excellent in the last 18 months. Tzolis has enjoyed an exceptional first half of the 2025/26 season, scoring 11 goals and providing 12 assists in 29 outings thus far. Meanwhile, his progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Crystal Palace will be among the prospective suitors vying for his signature in the winter transfer window.

London calling?

Crystal Palace wanted to sign Christos Tzolis in the summer transfer window, but the deal did not materialise. The continued interest is understandable, as Eberechi Eze’s void in the offensive unit remains despite Yeremy Pino’s solid displays in the final third this term.

With Christantus Uche struggling to make his mark since completing a loan move to Selhurst Park, he will likely return to Getafe next year. Several candidates have thus emerged on Crystal Palace’s radar, with Tzolis also a viable target. However, a winter deal for the Club Brugge winger may not materialise.

The Belgian giants do not want to part ways with the 23-year-old Greek international in the winter transfer window, as they want him for a title charge in the second half of the 2025/26 season. So, Crystal Palace can only sign Tzolis for a big-money fee, even though the youngster is open to joining the South London outfit. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.
