Ahmed Kantari will preside over his first game as manager of FC Nantes, when they travel to face SCO Angers on Friday evening.

Kantari replaced Luís Castro on an interim basis after the latter was sacked on Thursday. He departed having won just two games from 15 since replacing Antoine Kombouaré over the summer.

As well as a first for Kantari, there could also be a debut for Deiver Machado. The full-back joined from RC Lens on a joker transfer earlier in the week.

Nantes are expected to deploy a 4-4-2 this evening, with Matthis Abline and Youssef El Arabi leading the line.

However, Les Canaris remain with Louis Leroux and Herba Guirassy for this Ligue 1 encounter, the final one of the calendar year.
