Strasbourg predicted XI v Aberdeen: Emanuel Emegha out, Ben Chilwell to start from bench
Liam Rosenior has had difficult choices to make when aligning his attack in recent weeks. Joaquín Panichelli scored goals for fun in the absence of RC Strasbourg Alsace club captain Emanuel Emegha, but the Dutchman’s return had seen the goals dry up for Panichelli.
However, Emegha, given his importance and his status as captain, was almost a guaranteed pick for Rosenior. But the Dutchman is now out for six weeks, and so it will be Panichelli who will once again lead the line on his own.
Les Alsaciens are also without Maxi Oyedele and Abdoul Ouattara for Thursday night’s trip to face Scottish side Aberdeen in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Rosenior is not expected to spring any surprises, although Ben Chilwell is expected to start the game from the bench.
