Liverpool are targeting a move for Rennes defender Jérémy Jacquet (20) to replace Ibrahima Konaté (26) who could be set to leave the Premier League champions on a free transfer, according to a report from Sacha Tavolieri. The Frenchman’s contract at Anfield is set to expire at the end of the season.

The Reds have scouted the young Frenchman extensively this season and have been impressed with his performances on multiple occasions. Several clubs are interested in signing the Rennes defender, who has made 15 appearances in Ligue 1 this season.
