Rennes predicted XI v PSG: Jérémy Jacquet starts, Seko Fofana benched

Rennes will look to make it five Ligue 1 wins in a row against PSG as Habib Beye’s Bretons take on the Champions League winners tonight at Parc des Princes. The Senegalese head coach was in a tight spot with his job on the line following Rennes’ early struggles in the start of the season. Beye eventually turned the situation around, leading Les Rouge et Noir to four convincing Ligue 1 wins.

The former Newcastle United and Marseille full-back is expected to stick with his 5-3-2 tactical set-up with France U21 international centre-back Jérémy Jacquet anchoring the defense alongside Abdelhamid Aït Boudlal and Lilian Brassier.

Ivory Coast international midfielder Seko Fofana is expected to be benched with Beye retaining his faith in Valentin Rongier, Mahdi Camara and Djaoui Cissé. Estéban Lepaul and Breel Embolo are set to lead the line to threaten Matvey Safonov.
