Serhou Guirassy has specific release clause that can be triggered by Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United

A specific set of Premier League giants can trigger a specific release clause in Serhou Guirassy’s contract if they wish to sign the Borussia Dortmund striker.

According to Sport Bild, Serhou Guirassy has a specific release clause that only specific teams can trigger. Those include Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, among a few others, as the striker has plans to leave Borussia Dortmund next summer.

Serhou Guirassy was always a decent striker talent in his endeavours before joining Stuttgart. In the two seasons with the German club, the striker scored 39 Bundesliga goals in 50 games, which earned him a big career move to Borussia Dortmund.

Since arriving at Dortmund, he replaced Niclas Fullkrug, and the decision proved correct from the club’s perspective, given the numbers Guirassy posted last season. He had 21 goals in the Bundesliga and 13 strikes in the Champions League, which has since attracted big interest in the striker.

Dortmund did field a few approaches back in the summer, but they wanted to keep the 29-year-old Bundesliga star at the club. However, Guirassy has plans to move out of the club next season as he seeks another big switch in his career before it’s too late.

At 29, he has ambitions to either make the switch to one of the top teams, probably from the Premier League. He was recently offered to Manchester United ahead of January, as per a report, although the 29-year-old Bundesliga star is not thinking about leaving Borussia Dortmund in the winter window.

Who can trigger Serhou Guirassy’s release clause?

As per the report, Guirassy has a release clause that only a few teams in the world can trigger. Those reportedly include Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool, among a few others, as the price point for other teams would be much higher.

Arsenal and Manchester United were linked recently, but there are doubts about whether these teams need the 29-year-old Bundesliga star at the moment or even next summer. As for Guirassy, he wants a big move in his career, for which he must keep performing at the highest levels, although Saudi Arabia is also an option that is discussed in the report.
