Leeds United will reportedly look to sign 21-year-old Spanish striker Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid in a deal worth €25-30 million.

According to an update by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Gonzalo Garcia is the subject of interest from Leeds United. The Whites are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a striker in the winter transfer window. So, the 21-year-old Real Madrid centre-forward has emerged as a target for the West Yorkshire outfit.

The 2024/25 EFL Championship winners are ready to win the race to sign the Spaniard by submitting a bid worth €25-30 million to Real Madrid. However, Leeds United will face stiff competition from Fulham and seven other clubs for Garcia’s signature, with the young striker seeking regular game time.

Gonzalo Garcia is the latest promising prospect to rise in prominence at Real Madrid. While the Merengues have not produced many world-class prodigies from their academy in the last few years, they have groomed Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and a few other players after signing them. However, Garcia has been a backup player in the 2025/26 season, managing only 108 minutes of game time in nine appearances thus far. Leeds United and Fulham are among the prospective suitors vying for the Real Madrid prodigy’s signature heading into the winter transfer window.
