Borussia Dortmund’s Karim Adeyemi dreams to play for either Liverpool or Real Madrid in the future as contract talks continue to drag on
West Deutsche Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi has two clubs he dreams of playing for.
Off the pitch, Adeyemi has caused quite a stir in recent weeks, with Dortmund and the winger in talks over a new contract and more recently, the 23-year-old has gotten in trouble with the police after he was caught with brass knuckles and a taser in a ‘mystery box’.
Adeyemi has yet to submit a transfer request at the Westfalenstadion, despite reports saying he would look to leave the club, but his leaving is also not out of the question after his agent has held talks with both Manchester United and Inter.
However, Adeyemi dreams of playing for either Liverpool or Real Madrid in the future, whether that be from next summer or later down the line.
Dortmund’s current stance with Adeyemi:
When it comes to Adeyemi’s contract, which expires in 2027, talks are still ongoing.
Sky Germany reports that the club wants to extend his deal, but does not want to make the 23-year-old one of the top earners at the club. The highest they will go is giving Adeyemi’s €600k per month; however, the winger would like more money.
