Liverpool rival Chelsea, Manchester United in Said El Mala chase

Arne Slot’s Liverpool are all set to rival Chelsea and Manchester United in their pursuit of FC Koln winger Said El Mala.

Said El Mala’s sensational performances for FC Koln have put him on the radar of multiple top clubs in England. According to a report from Football Insider, Premier League giants Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are all keen on his signature and have been keeping tabs on him ahead of a potential transfer.

After an impressive loan spell at Viktoria Koln last season, El Mala joined his parent club during the summer. The 19-year-old winger was straightaway integrated into their first team, and he is certainly making it count.

In just 340 minutes of first-team action in his nine Bundesliga outings, the German youth international has four goals and two assists. The teenage sensation has been a breakout star for Koln this season, and his performances have not gone unnoticed.

Premier League giants to battle for El Mala

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all keen on securing Said El Mala’s signature. The three Premier League bigwigs are massive admirers of the youngster and have been scouting him of late.

El Mala is considered a generational talent, and it is quite evident thanks to his performances for both club and country. The Premier League clubs do not want to miss out on the teenager and have started making moves to try and lure him away.

While his contract with the Bundesliga club runs until the summer of 2030, giving Koln significant control over his future, they might still struggle to keep hold of him, given the calibre of clubs interested in his signature.

El Mala is considered just the perfect fit for Chelsea’s project that revolves around signing the best young players. Meanwhile, Manchester United have also been looking to sign younger players with massive potential under the new part-owners. As far as Liverpool are concerned, they are looking to prepare for the future and are set to rival the Blues and the Red Devils.

Despite having forked out a fortune to bolster their attack in the summer, the Reds now want to add more quality to ensure they continue to dominate in the long run. With three of the biggest clubs in England after his signature, it will be interesting to see who ends up winning the race for El Mala.
