According to Ekrem Konur, Joaquin Panichelli’s list of suitors keeps growing as Barcelona are the latest to show serious interest in the forward. The Catalans are planning for life beyond Robert Lewandowski, as the Strasbourg forward is one of the options under consideration, while Chelsea are seen as the frontrunner for the Argentine.

Joqauin Panichelli has made a big impact on proceedings since making his move to Strasbourg from Alaves in the summer. Since then, the Argentine attacker has scored nine goals in ten Ligue 1 games, with another in a Conference League clash for the French side.

From Strasbourg’s point of view, they have secured one of the top bracket talents, which now seems like a shrewd investment for the benefit of the club. They might be able to make a massive profit on the player, as there are many teams already lining up moves for the 23-year-old in-form Ligue 1 attacker.

Barcelona are the latest to enter the race, with the Spanish giants now planning on exploring the market for options to replace Robert Lewandowski in the near future.
