Real Madrid are set to rival Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to sign Red Bull Salzburg teenager Kerim Alajbegovic.
According to a report by Defensa Central, Bosnian teenager Kerim Alajbegovic is attracting interest from Real Madrid. The Spanish giants are ready to rival Chelsea and Manchester United for the Red Bull Salzburg prospect, who has been impressing with his displays this season.
Top clubs around Europe are constantly keeping their eyes open to any emerging talents that suit their team. Clubs like Real Madrid have recently adopted signing talented young players from around the world to keep developing them and build for the future.
Over the last few years, they have brought in stars like Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes from Brazil, while this past summer, they signed Franco Mastantuono from River Plate as an example of their trajectory. The Spanish giants are now angling for a move for Red Bull Salzburg’s 18-year-old Balkan attacking sensation Kerim Alajbegovic.
Alajbegovic, already a Bosnian international, is attracting massive interest, following a stellar start to the season. The teenage prospect has six goals for the Austrian side already this term, and Real Madrid are keen to explore a move for the 18-year-old Balkan attacking sensation ahead of the near future.
The idea is to build their squad for the future, with some key signings of younger profiles. For instance, they are also interested in Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha, although the Merseysiders are eager to tie him down for the long-term future. Alajbegovic also plays on the left wing, similar to the former Chelsea youth product.
Chelsea and Manchester United are interested
Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in Alajbegovic, with the Premier League bigwigs also angling to keep building for the future. Chelsea, in particular, have been extremely active in the youth market, as they have made it their transfer policy to bring in players young and develop them either for their first team plans for the future or sell them on a massive profit, as seen with many of their recent purchases.
Manchester United are also been active in signing young talents over the last few years. Last year, they signed two Chido Obi-Martin and Ayden Heaven from Arsenal, with the latter now a prominent part of their first team. In the race for Kerim Alajbegovic, the Red Devils and Chelsea must overcome the challenge posed by Real Madrid, and the race could intensify in future windows.
