Milan List Touted Strasbourg and Midtjylland Starlets

Santiago Gimenez’s effort isn’t lacking, but Milan are very concerned with his lack of scoring. He hasn’t hit the net in ten hours of game time. They are weighing investing again to shore up their frontline after spending €37M for Christopher Nkunku. The Frenchman has yet to make his presence felt, Calciomercato informs.

The Rossoneri are eyeing a few foreign talents to address the position. They are keeping close tabs on Joaquin Panichelli, who has scored seven goals in eight Ligue 1 matches, confirming the numbers he had put up in his breakout season at Mirandes. However, Strasbourg are under the BlueCo umbrella. The striker’s future is controlled by Chelsea, where he’ll likely end up eventually if he keeps shining.

Milan are also monitory Midtjylland’s Franculino, who was tracked by Bayern Munich last summer. He has hit the net 15 goals across all competitions so far, adding 2 assists. He’s high on their list also because he interplays well with his teammates. Another attempt for Artem Dovbyk could be in the cards if Roma pushed him out.

The Rossoneri have been linked to Son Heung-Min in a possible loan spell from Los Angeles FC so he could better prepare for the 2026 World Cup. However, there’s nothing in the works in that sense, Fabrizio Moretto reports (via CalcioNews24).

Our Take on the Milan Attack

Injuries have simplified the rotation for Massimiliano Allegri, as Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic have basically never been available at the same time. It’s their best pair talent-wise, but it might not work stylistically. Ideally, they’d need somebody like peak Olivier Giroud. Even though their targets are gifted, January isn’t the time to gamble on foreign starlets, especially considering their coach and the fact that they are competing for the Scudetto.
