Everton open to loaning out Adam Aznou in January
Everton will be ready to sanction a loan exit for 19-year-old Moroccan international Adam Aznou in the winter transfer window.
According to an update by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Adam Aznou may depart from the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the winter transfer window. The Moroccan international has struggled for game time in his first few months with Everton, with fitness issues also plaguing him in the early weeks with the Merseyside outfit.
So, the Toffees are open to loaning out the Barcelona-born wide player in the winter transfer window to help him gain more game time. The decision-makers at Everton believe “regular minutes will accelerate his development” in the second half of the 2025/26 season. So, they are “willing to consider offers from teams that can provide a suitable environment for growth” in the coming weeks.
Adam Aznou has struggled to make his mark since joining Everton from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window. The Barcelona native spent most of his formative years in Spain, passing through the academies at CE Escola Collblanc Torrassac, Sistrells, CF Damm, and FC Barcelona. However, the 19-year-old graduated from the youth division at Bayern Munich.
The Moroccan international also spent the second half of the 2024/25 season with Real Valladolid to earn some first-team experience. However, Aznou has yet to make his senior bow for Everton, managing 171 minutes of game time for the club’s under-21 side. Fitness issues have plagued him in the first few weeks of the 2025/26 campaign.
