Olivier Giroud is set to start on the bench for Lille OSC as they host PAOK Salonique in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening. 

Giroud and former Glasgow Rangers striker Hamza Igamane have been rotated so far this season, and it is the latter who is expected to start tonight. There aren’t any returnees for Lille, who must still notably do with Alexsandro at the heart of the defence; his continued absence is a blow for Les Dogues.

For this game, Bruno Genesio will also be unable to select André Gomes and Ethan Mbappé, both of whom were not included in LOSC’s Europa League squad at the start of the season. L’Équipe understands that key players Ngal’ayel Mukau and Matias Fernandez-Pardo may also have to settle for places on the bench.
