Real Madrid player ratings against Juventus: Arda Guler stars as Jude Bellingham returns to form
Real Madrid ground out a 1-0 victory against Juventus on Wednesday night, with Jude Bellingham scoring the only goal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Starting XI
Thibaut Courtois – 7.5
Made a couple of very important saves, including one to deny Dusan Vlahovic when it will still 0-0.
Federico Valverde – 7
Continues to look very comfortable at right-back, providing a different option for Xabi Alonso.
Raul Asencio – 7
Very good performance from Asencio, who really needed this after a difficult time of things whenever he has been called upon this season.
Eder Militao – 7
A couple of lapses of concentration, but aside of that, a solid display from the Brazil international.
Alvaro Carreras – 7.5
Another top showing from Carreras, who continues to be one of Real Madrid’s players of the season so far.
Aurelien Tchouameni – 6.5
Not his best performance, but good enough. Had a couple of chances to score in the first half.
Arda Guler – 8
Guler has been sensational this season, and that continued against Juventus. He drove Real Madrid forward in the first half, and was good in the second period before being substituted.
Jude Bellingham – 7.5
Did well against Getafe at the weekend, and continued that momentum here by scoring his first goal of the season.

Brahim Diaz – 6.5
Tried hard, but generally, things did not go his way.
Kylian Mbappe – 6.5
A rare quiet night for Mbappe, who did have a number of chances to score, but he was regularly denied by Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.
Vinicius Junior – 6.5
Vinicius was also quiet, but he did play a big role in Bellingham’s goal.
Substitutes
Eduardo Camavinga – 6
Did well, but could not replicate Guler’s impact.
Fran Garcia – 6
Played in a more advanced role after replacing Vinicius, which he looked uncomfortable in.
Franco Mastantuono – 6
Got involved during his cameo.
Gonzalo Garcia – 6
Did not have much time to do anyway.
