Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly keen on signing 20-year-old Brazilian midfield sensation Breno Bidon from Corinthians next year.

According to an update by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in Breno Bidon. The two Premier League giants are keen on reinforcing their first-team squads by signing a versatile midfielder next year. So, the 20-year-old Corinthians midfield sensation has emerged as a target for them.

However, Manchester United and Manchester City are not alone in the race to sign Bidon, as Wolverhampton Wanderers, Napoli, Zenit St Petersburg, and PSV Eindhoven are also keen on securing his services. The latter recently failed with a move to land Sao Paulo native, with Corinthians rejecting a bid worth €9 million.

Breno Bidon and his recent rise

Breno Bidon is the latest highly rated midfielder to rise in prominence in his homeland. The Sao Paulo native spent his formative years in Brazil and graduated from the youth division at Corinthians. The 20-year-old has become a regular for the Brasileirao Serie A club, making nearly 100 appearances thus far while chipping in with two goals and three assists.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian midfield prospect’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. Premier League outfits, in particular, have been pursuing him for a long time, with Manchester United and Manchester City vying for his signature heading into the winter transfer window.
