Crystal Palace linked with a swap deal involving Yann Bisseck

Crystal Palace could be offered the opportunity to sign Yann Bisseck as part of a swap deal that would see Marc Guehi move in the opposite direction.

With Marc Guehi’s future up in the air, Crystal Palace were keen on signing a new defender in the summer. Yann Bisseck was one of the names on their wishlist, and they did try to sign the Inter Milan centre-back. However, the move didn’t go through.

The Eagles pulled the plug on Guehi’s move to Liverpool on deadline day, and it negated their need to sign a central defender. But with the English international’s contract running out, they are in the market for a defender, and Bisseck has been linked with them once again.

According to a report from SportMediaset, the Eagles could be offered the chance to sign the German international in the upcoming winter transfer window. Inter Milan are keen on signing Guehi, and they are ready to offer Bisseck in a swap deal.

The 24-year-old wasn’t keen on leaving Inter for Palace during the summer. However, his stance has changed as he has only featured in one league game in the new season. Despite having four years left on his deal, he is ready to make the switch.

Palace offered the chance to sign Bisseck

Inter are ready to cash in on him, but they are looking to replace him with Palace’s Marc Guehi. While his summer move to Liverpool didn’t go through, the 25-year-old is expected to leave Selhurst Park eventually.

He won’t be penning a new deal, and as things stand, he will be a free agent next summer. Inter Milan are looking to hand the Eagles an opportunity to cash in on the English international in the winter window, and they are ready to offer a ready-made replacement in Bisseck.

The Nerazzurri have been monitoring Guehi for some time and feel he could be an exceptional acquisition for them with some of their key defenders on the wrong side of 30. They see his contract situation as a major opportunity and feel a swap deal could help both parties.

However, it remains unclear how Crystal Palace would respond to such a proposal. Inter would certainly welcome the idea, as it would see them land a world-class defender in return. The Eagles, meanwhile, are likely to think twice before agreeing to the deal, especially considering Bisseck wasn’t keen on joining them a few months ago.
