Crystal Palace, Everton, Newcastle United vying for Ansu Fati

Crystal Palace, Everton, and Newcastle United are keen to explore a move for resurgent on-loan Monaco star Ansu Fati.

According to Fichajes, Ansu Fati is gaining plenty of traction following his early performances with AS Monaco. A host of Premier League sides, including Crystal Palace, Everton, and Newcastle United, are interested in exploring a move in the future.

Ansu Fati has found his feet again in the game after a few years of mediocrity and injury issues. The attacker was once primed to be the direct replacement for Lionel Messi at Barcelona, but a terrible loss of form and multiple fitness concerns.

At one stage, it appeared his career had spiralled out and he could end up like many of the promising talents that never made it through. Back in the summer, there were doubts about whether the Blaugrana could offload him given their financial standing and the need to get rid of underperformers.

Luckily for them, AS Monaco came through with an offer to take the player on loan with a buy option worth a reported €11 million, as per the story. Barcelona also holds an option to buy him back for a reported €28 million, although there could be new twists in the tale, given his early performances at the French giants are garnering big interest from Premier League sides.

Everton, Newcastle United, and Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in exploring a future move for Ansu Fati, although there will be complications owing to his current arrangement. Given the 22-year-old resurgent whizkid has scored five times in three appearances, as he continues to show the form of his old self that made him one of the sought-after young stars around.

Ansu Fati could head to the Premier League

Fati could potentially make his move to AS Monaco permanent, although buy options are usually tricky, which also gives the players some level of power in choosing their future. In the 22-year-old resurgent whizkid’s case, he could potentially choose one of Crystal Palace, Everton or Newcastle United, given that those sides are looking for a player of his profile.

Barcelona could theoretically let everything go to plan with AS Monaco and then exercise their buyback clause and then sell him on a profit to one of those Premier League sides. Hence, the future of Ansu Fati seems to be wide open as things stand, something that could be resolved next summer.
