Juventus confident Kenan Yildiz will sign new deal amid Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool links
Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool have suffered a massive blow in their pursuit of the Juventus attacking sensation Kenan Yildiz.
According to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Juventus have no intentions of letting Kenan Yildiz leave the club anytime soon. Their chief Damien Comolli won’t let any of his Premier League suitors prise the Turkish sensation away. The Bianconeri are planning to secure his future with a new lucrative deal.
Yildiz has only gone from strength to strength since joining Juventus from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022. He went from the Under-19s to the first team in just over a year’s time. The 20-year-old has not only established himself as a key figure in the team, but he is also considered one of the cornerstones of their project going forward.
The Turkish international prefers playing out wide on the left, but he is pretty comfortable anywhere behind the striker. Yildiz is being deployed as a number ten this season, and he has been doing wonders for the Old Lady. In his eight matches across competitions, he has two goals and four assists.
The youngster’s sensational rise has not gone unnoticed, and almost every top club in Europe has him on their radar. His future has become a very big talking point, as giants from England seem ready to break the bank to incorporate him into their squad.
However, that seems unlikely as Juventus are confident about keeping hold of Kenan Yildiz. They are gearing up to hand the young Turk a new deal with improved terms and are optimistic about him putting pen to paper.
While speaking about Kenan Yildiz’s future, TBR’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, said, “Damien Comolli only arrived in the summer, but he made a big impact. He completed the captures of Jonathan David and Lois Openda, but he is very much looking at keeping hold of their top talents, and there is nobody more important than Yildiz.
“Yildiz looks like a superstar and Juve know that most of Europe’s top clubs would take him at the drop of a hat, but he is now working on a new deal and the hope is he signs and then that shows that he is not on the market anytime soon.”
Comolli, who took charge at Juventus this summer, has done wonders so far. While he had added a lot of quality to their squad during the window, the 52-year-old is now focused on securing the long-term future of their stars.
Kenan Yildiz is considered the most important player on their squad, and they will try everything in their power to secure his future. His current deal runs until the summer of 2029, which means the Old Lady do not need to rush.
Yildiz to continue at Juventus?
Juventus are still looking to reward him with a deal that will make him one of the highest-paid players. It will not only secure his future, but also send out a clear signal that he is not for sale. Since the renewal talks are already underway and Juventus are confident about their chances, it certainly is a massive blow for Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool.
The Gunners do need an upgrade on the left flank, and Kenan Yildiz could be a great option. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old is just the kind of player Chelsea are looking for. He is young and has massive potential; the Blues can certainly look to invest in him. Both North London clubs are massive admirers of the youngster.
While Liverpool added a lot of firepower during the summer, they can certainly do with another option in the final third. His versatility could actually make things a lot easier for Arne Slot. He has been on their wishlist for some time, and they continue to track him ahead of a potential switch. But it seems all three clubs are fighting a lost battle as Juventus closes in on a new deal.
