Real Madrid join Liverpool in the race for Michael Olise

Real Madrid are ready to make a move for Mochael Olise and rival the likes of Liverpool for the Bayern Munich winger next summer.

According to Fichajes, Real Madrid are part of the race for Michael Olise, with the Frenchman coming in for high demand. Several teams are angling for a move for the 23-year-old Bayern Munich star, with Liverpool one of the serious contenders, but the entry of the Spanish giants could complicate the desire of the English side.

Michael Olise has proved his worth as one of the top wingers in the world since making his move from Crystal Palace to Bayern Munich. The attacker achieved 30 goals and assists in 34 Bundesliga games last season, and has already put in the numbers in the new campaign.

Bayern Munich are aware of the likelihood of some of the big teams angling for a move for the attacker in the near future. The German giants have currently no plans to consider any approaches from suitors and instead are ready to offer him a bumper new deal that matches his current stature in the team.

Liverpool are seen as a major contender for the attacker, with the Merseysiders considering him as a long-term replacement for the formidable Mohamed Salah when he does leave the club. Hence, they might not have an immediate need, but they could do the groundwork on the  23-year-old Bayern Munich star early to get the upper hand.

Bayern Munich are not fretting over Olise’s future, although the situation in the background could soon change owing to a recent development. Real Madrid are ready to enter the race for the Frenchman, which could turn the tables in the race moving forward.

Real Madrid, the front-runners for Michael Olise?

The report states that if Real Madrid enters the race, Olise might be open to the idea of playing for the Spanish giants. With Bayern Munich in a strong position with his current contract, Real Madrid might consider paying a big fee that fits Olise’s stature and get ahead in the race.

They only signed Argentine teenager Franco Mastantuono in the summer, and while the young star is seen as a top talent for the present and future, Real Madrid will not bat an eyelid in signing Olise. Xabi Alonso would welcome intense competition for places by signing the 23-year-old Bayern Munich star, which may come as bad news for Liverpool in their efforts to land the Frenchman.
