Manor Solomon has no Tottenham future under Thomas Frank
Manor Solomon is among a group of players at Tottenham who have no future under new boss Thomas Frank, with a future departure on the cards.
According to Give Me Sport, Manor Solomon does not have a future under Thomas Frank at Tottenham, and a future sale will be prioritised. The Israeli winger is currently on loan at Villarreal, and Spurs will hope the attacker has a similar season to the one with Leeds United in the EFL Championship the last time out.
Tottenham have had to make a few key decisions with their squad over the last few years, as offloading some key stars became a priority. For instance, they have phased out Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Bryan Gil and Son Heung-min, among others. There are a few more that they would like to sell in the near future, with Yves Bissouma and Manor Solomon’s names prominent on that list.
Bissouma is ready to leave Spurs after a falling out with new boss Thomas Frank, and with the Saudi Arabian window still open for a few more days, there is still a chance he departs from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. However, Solomon’s future is considered a rather significant thing, as Spurs are ready to sell the Israeli international.
Solomon joined Spurs following an impressive loan spell at Fulham, and he looked impressive in his first season under Ange Postecoglou. However, injuries and then a loss in form ensured he was shipped out to Leeds United on loan. The Premier League newcomers wanted to bring him back, but for some reason or another, they could not.
Crystal Palace were linked with a late move, but having already signed Yeremy Pino as a wide attacker, they did not have as serious an interest as it was reported. Eventually, Solomon left Tottenham to join Villarreal on loan, as the 26-year-old misfit appears to be a replacement for Yeremy.
Tottenham to sell Manor Solomon
Tottenham do not view Solomon’s future as being in North London, and they are ready to find suitors for the 26-year-old misfit when he returns from his loan. Spurs will hope that Solomon has a tremendous campaign, similar to the one with Leeds United last term, where he posted double figures in terms of goals.
With a contract until 2028, there is still plenty of time to make a steady profit on the Israel international, especially considering he arrived for free. With Tottenham moving in a different direction with their squad building, players like Solomon and Bissouma have no future here.
