Kirill Glebov wants Manchester United move amid Arsenal, Aston Villa, Newcastle United links
Arsenal, Aston Villa and Newcastle United target Kirill Glebov has his heart set on a move to Manchester United.
CSKA Moscow attacking sensation Kirill Glebov could soon join a bigger club, as several of Europe’s top teams are keen on his signature. Arsenal, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United are all showing strong interest in securing his services, but according to a report from CaughtOffside, the teenager dreams of playing for Manchester United.
Glebov has come up the ranks at CSKA and has been a part of their first team since the summer of 2023. So far, the 19-year-old has made 54 senior appearances and has contributed towards 14 goals. His impressive rise has helped him break into the Russian national team.
While the majority of his appearances, of late, have come on the right flank, he is equally effective on the left as well as in the number ten role. Glebov was in fine form prior to his hip injury. In his last six league appearances, he bagged three goals and an assist.
European giants keen on signing Glebov
His recent performances, along with his massive potential, have put him on the radar of some of the biggest clubs in Europe. Multiple English clubs are already after the signature of the 19-year-old, who is currently valued at around €1.5 million.
His value is expected to rise rapidly if he carries on in a similar fashion, and soon multiple top clubs could battle it out for his signature. Arsenal are always on the lookout for young stars with massive potential, and they are believed to be monitoring the Russian international. The Gunners see him as an ideal long-term investment.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are also interested in the teenager. His impressive rise has caught the attention of their scouts, and they continue to keep tabs on his development, as they are impressed with his technique and versatility.
Glebov wants a Manchester United move
However, it seems Manchester United have a massive advantage in the race for his signature. If the Red Devils decide to make a move for him, the teenager will certainly prioritise them. He dreams of playing at Old Trafford and has openly expressed that it is a long-term ambition.
The atmosphere at the stadium, the club’s rich history and traditions, along with his deep respect for Sir Alex Ferguson, play a big part in that. While he is keen on joining the Manchester-based club, it will be interesting to see if they make a move for him in the near future.
