Iceland predicted XI v France: Lille’s Hákon Arnar Haraldsson to start
Lille OSC midfielder Hákon Arnar Haraldsson is expected to start for Iceland tonight as they face France in their FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
Iceland began their campaign with an emphatic 5-0 win over Azerbaijan earlier in the international break, and they will look to take their momentum into tonight’s game in Paris against Les Bleus. Arnar Gunnlaugsson doesn’t have many injury concerns with Fiorentina forward Albert Gudmundsson, the only absentee from Tuesday night’s encounter at the Parc des Princes.
Andri Gudjohnsen is set to lead the line alongside Lille’s Haraldsson, with Gunnlaugsson expected to deploy his side in a 3-5-2 formation against France. The Blackburn Rovers forward has nine goals in 35 games for the national team.
