Bayern Munich ready to offer bumper new deal to Michael Olise to ward off Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona
Bayern Munich attacker Michael Olise has been linked with a move away from Germany of late, but a pay rise may be on the cards.
According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Barcelona are interested in Michael Olise. However, Bayern Munich are prepared to offer the French internatioanl a bumper new contract with higher wages to fend off the three clubs.
Bayern Munich signed Olise for a fee of around £50 million, and he has been a star for them. The London-born attacker is currently one of the best players in the Bundesliga, and it is no surprise that top teams want to sign him. Olise has the talent to develop into a world-class player, and he could be an amazing addition for Chelsea, Liverpool or Barcelona.
Olise would improve all three clubs
Chelsea could certainly use more quality on the flanks, and the French international would be the ideal acquisition for them. He will help create opportunities and find the back of the net. The French international knows the Premier League well from his time at Crystal Palace and he could make an instant impact.
Similarly, Liverpool need to start planning for a future without Mohamed Salah, and they have set their sights on Olise. The Egyptian international is in his twilight years, and he will need to be replaced in future. The Bayern Munich star could be the ideal addition.
As far as Barcelona are concerned, the Blaugrana could use more quality in the final third as well. They will be hoping to win the Champions League title and they need more cutting edge in the final third. Signing one of the best players in Germany would be ideal.
It will be interesting to see if Olise is ready to commit his long-term future to the club with a new deal and a pay rise. It will certainly give Bayern Munich a position of strength if any club wants to come forward for the player.
Signing a new contract would also make it difficult for the French international to move on. The Bundesliga champions will demand an exorbitant amount of money for him if that happens. It remains to be seen what the player decides in the coming months.
