AS Roma may look to sign 20-year-old French winger Wilson Odobert from Tottenham Hotspur if they fail to land Manchester United flop Jadon Sancho this summer.

According to a report by Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport, Wilson Odobert is the subject of interest from AS Roma. The Serie A giants are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing another attacker despite securing Leon Bailey’s services this week. So, the 20-year-old Tottenham Hotspur winger has emerged as a target for the Giallorossi.

The Serie A giants have been chasing Jadon Sancho’s signature for several days, but the English playmaker has been hesitant to accept their offer. So, the Tottenham whizkid has emerged as a target for AS Roma, with the North London club demanding €25 million to part ways with the Frenchman in the summer transfer window.

Wilson Odobert has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Tottenham Hotspur from Burnley in a deal worth €30 million last summer. While the 20-year-old showed flashes of brilliance during his spells on the pitch, he spent most of the 2024/25 season on the sidelines due to a hamstring injury.
