Fulham eyeing Mohammadjavad Hosseinnejad swoop, open talks

Fulham will compete with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla to sign 22-year-old Iranian attacker Mohammadjavad Hosseinnejad from Dinamo Makhachkala this summer.

According to a report by TEAMtalk, Mohammadjavad Hosseinnejad is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a versatile attacker in the summer transfer window. So, the 22-year-old Dinamo Makhachkala attacking midfielder has emerged as a target for the West London club.

However, Fulham will face stiff competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sevilla for the Juybar native’s signature, with the latter leading the battle to sign him from the Russian club in the summer transfer window. All three clubs are in talks to secure Hosseinnejad’s services in the coming days.

Who is Mohammadjavad Hosseinnejad?

Mohammadjavad Hosseinnejad has made gradual progress since joining Dinamo Makhachkala from Sepahan FC last summer. While the 22-year-old has not been as productive as he would have liked, he has contributed to ten goals in 36 appearances thus far for the Russian club by finding the back of the net four times and providing six assists.

Meanwhile, the Iranian attacker’s progress has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs. Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Sevilla are in talks to sign the Dinamo Makhchkala prospect in the summer transfer window, with the latter leading the battle for his signature.

London calling?

Fulham’s interest in Mohammadjavad Hosseinnejad makes sense. The Cottagers are combing the market for multiple attackers this summer after parting ways with Reiss Nelson and Willian when the transfer window opened. While the former remains a target for Fulham, they have developed second thoughts about pursuing his signature due to his recent fitness issues.

Other attackers, including Philip Otele, are on Fulham’s radar, with Hosseinnejad also a viable target. With the West London outfit already in talks to sign the young attacking midfielder, a summer move may be on the cards. However, Fulham must overcome stiff competition to secure the Dinamo Makhachkala prospect’s services in the ongoing transfer window.

With Sevilla in pole position to sign the 22-year-old Iranian attacking prospect from the Russian club, Fulham may face a tall order to land him. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Hosseinnejad.
