Serie A giants AS Roma are reportedly preparing an offer to sign 24-year-old Danish international Matt O’Riley from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Matt O’Riley is the subject of interest from AS Roma. The Serie A giants are keen on reinforcing their midfield unit and are formulating a bid to sign the Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, the Danish international is also a target for Tottenham Hotspur.

Matt O’Riley has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Brighton & Hove Albion from Celtic in a deal worth £25 million last summer. A native of London, the player spent his formative years in England and graduated from the youth division at Fulham. However, he rose in prominence during his spell with Celtic.

In addition, the 24-year-old has picked Denmark as his national side, making his international bow in November 2023.
