Man City Captain Kyle Walker in Italy Ahead of AC Milan Transfer

Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has arrived in Italy to complete a medical ahead of his anticipated transfer to AC Milan.

The 34-year-old defender, who has been a crucial figure in Pep Guardiola's squad since joining City in 2017, expressed his desire to explore a move abroad earlier this month. Walker’s pace and defensive recovery have been integral to City's system, but a dip in form and off-field issues saw him lose his starting position this season.

Walker’s move to Milan will reunite him with other English players in Serie A, including Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham. At Milan, he will compete for the right-back position with current captain Davide Calabria.

During his time at Manchester City, Walker secured an impressive trophy haul, including six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League. He leaves the club as one of the Premier League's greatest right-backs, boasting 15 major trophies in his career.

Milan fans will hope that Walker’s experience and leadership can bolster their squad as they aim for success domestically and in Europe.
