Dejan Kulusevski Backs Ange Postecoglou Amid Tottenham Struggles

Tottenham winger Dejan Kulusevski has come out in full support of manager Ange Postecoglou, despite growing pressure on the Australian following Spurs’ recent dip in form.

Kulusevski Defends Postecoglou

With Spurs slipping to 15th place in the Premier League after back-to-back losses to Everton and Leicester City, some fans have called for Postecoglou to be sacked. However, Kulusevski—who has been Tottenham’s standout player with nine goals and eight assists—strongly disagrees.

“Yeah, I agree with him," said the Swedish international. "We’re doing really well in the cups, and I think we can do big things in these last four months.”

He emphasized that Postecoglou’s system had Spurs playing "beautiful football" earlier in the season, citing performances against Manchester United and Manchester City.

“We showed perfect football, football not many teams can play in the world. I have to fight for him because I believe in that football too. Yeah, he is the right man.”

Postecoglou Responds to Pressure

Despite mounting criticism, Postecoglou remains confident that Spurs can turn things around.

“My message to all Spurs fans—because I represent them all, not just the angry ones—is that we are working hard to turn this around,” he said.

He remains focused on Tottenham’s Europa League campaign, with a crucial match against Elfsborg up next.

Injury Boost for Spurs

The Spurs boss also confirmed that defender Micky van de Ven is available for selection after 10 days of full training.

“Micky is good. He is in good condition, so we’ll try to get him some match minutes tomorrow.”

With key players returning, Postecoglou still believes Tottenham can salvage their season.
