Barcelona & Real Madrid ‘exploring moves’ for Tottenham star
A member of the defensive ranks at Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur has made his way onto the transfer radar of Spanish football’s two leading clubs.
This comes amid the understanding that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are considering bringing Pedro Porro back to his home country in the near future.
Right-back Porro is for his part now considered one of the standout right-backs in world football. Despite the ongoing struggles of Tottenham as a collective, the 27-year-old has long emerged as a standout performer in north London.
His talents were on full display on the international stage this past summer, too, as Porro shone en route to Spain securing glory at the World Cup.
And as alluded to above, such ongoing excellence does not appear to have gone unnoticed amongst some of the heavyweights of La Liga…
As per a report from journalist Graeme Bailey, writing for English outlet TEAMtalk:
‘Barcelona and Real Madrid are exploring moves to bring Pedro Porro back to Spain, but Tottenham Hotspur would demand a world-record fee for the right-back, with sources telling TEAMtalk that intermediaries believe there is a genuine chance of a 2027 exit.’
