A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga champions Barcelona has gone completely viral online in the aftermath of the club’s latest outing.

This comes owing to a photo to have surfaced of Karim Adeyemi in the thick of the action on Wednesday night…

Barcelona were of course back on the pitch yesterday evening, welcoming Racing Santander to Catalunya’s capital for a league clash. The aforementioned Adeyemi, meanwhile, featured from the off in the fixture, from the left wing.

And en route to an eventual 7-2 Blaugrana rout, the German international conjured up nothing short of a spectacular individual performance.

Looking like a man possessed, Adeyemi was absolutely relentless in running at the Racing backline, beating his defender time and time again en route to an assist and a pair of penalties won.

And it was during one such surge forward that the summer arrival at the Camp Nou secured for himself a viral moment…

After beating a defender to open up space to burst into near the halfway line, Adeyemi was spotted celebrating, sticking his tongue out whilst still dribbling the ball.

The image has since blown up online, with the attacker himself having even managed to get in on the fun, posting a side-by-side of he and Lightning McQueen from the Disney movie ‘Cars’:
