Lamine Yamal responds to Real Madrid’s latest refereeing complaints
Barcelona star Lamine Yamal was on Tuesday drawn on the ongoing complaints of those at arch rivals Real Madrid regarding the standard of officiating in La Liga.
This of course comes fresh off a new round of drama centring on Los Blancos this past weekend.
En route to a first defeat of the campaign at the hands of Real Betis, those of a Real Madrid persuasion were left furious with a pair of late decisions, which ultimately hampered their efforts to draw level.
This is far from the first occasion on which the capital giants have made clear their grievances with the refereeing in Spain’s top-flight over recent seasons, amid ongoing Barcelona dominance in the Hansi Flick era.
Speaking during an appearance in front of the media earlier today, the aforementioned Lamine Yamal was therefore asked for his take on the situation.
And the 19-year-old was quick to assure that he and his teammates are for their part ‘happy’ with the level of La Liga officiating:
“If Real Madrid haven’t won La Liga for two years, that’s their problem. I don’t know. We’re very happy with the refereeing and everything so far. Those are questions you should ask them.”
