Auxerre predicted XI v Lyon: Cameron Archer set for debut
Having joined on loan from Southampton towards the end of the transfer window, Cameron Archer is expected to make his debut for AJ Auxerre when they travel to face Olympique Lyonnais at the Groupama Stadium on Friday evening.
Archer is set to lead the line for Will Still’s side this evening. Axel Tuanzebe, also signed during the closing stages of the window, will not be available. The defender is not yet fit. There are plenty of absences at the back, including Marvin Senaya, Bryan Okoh, Francisco Sierralta, and Fredik Oggeard. The latter misses out on the match against Lyon due to illness. There may be no space in Auxerre’s XI for Danny Namaso, with Rémy Labeau-Lascary expected to play on the left of the attack, with Bournemouth loanee Romain Faivre on the right.
Auxerre likely line-up v Lyon:
Mamadou Diop; Clément Akpa, Elikya Legros, Sinaly Diomandé, Lamine Sy; Kevin Danois, Arthur Piedfort, Naouirou Ahamada; Rémy Labeau-Lascary, Cameron Archer, Romain Faivre. (L’Éq)
