Official: Real Madrid nab another highly-regarded youngster from Atlético

La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week secured the signing of yet another breakthrough talent from city rivals Atlético Madrid.

The player to have put pen to paper on terms with Los Blancos? Jorge Rajado.

Rajado, for his part, is a versatile 20-year-old attacker/midfielder, who chiefly operates on the left wing. The starlet had long been considered one of the standout up-and-coming talents in Atlético’s academy, having linked up with the Rojiblancos all the way back in 2016.

It therefore came as a blow when official confirmation arrived earlier this week that Rajado had made the call to move on, courtesy of the termination of his contract.

And as alluded to above, over the last 24 hours, the Spaniard has rubbed salt in the wounds of those of an Atlético persuasion…

As confirmed by journalist Álvaro Esteban, Rajado has put pen to paper on terms with none other than Real Madrid, set to link up with Los Blancos’ C team.
