Lamine Camara returns to AS Monaco training after Chelsea deal falls through
Lamine Camara (22) took part in Wednesday morning’s training session in La Turbie, attended by Get French Football News. It comes just several hours after the Senegal international’s move to Chelsea broke down.

Camara had looked set to complete a move to Stamford Bridge on transfer deadline day. However, despite a deal in principle being struck between the two clubs, the move fell through. Monaco backed out of the transfer in the hope of selling Folarin Balogun instead. The USMNT forward’s move to Everton was revived after the Merseyside club initially reneged on a deal following a failed medical. However, his move also broke down in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Balogun absent from Monaco training
Both Camara and Balogun remain at the club, therefore, for now. The markets in Turkiye and Saudi Arabia, notably, remain open. Camara took part in Monaco’s first-team training session on Wednesday. Balogun was not present, although he was still in England into the early hours of the morning and also had not been training with the first team due to an injury prior to his aborted move to Everton.

There was good news for the Principality club in the form of a return for Ansu Fati. The Spaniard has not featured for Monaco since his move from Barcelona was made permanent.
