Official | Romain Del Castillo joins Osasuna from Brest
Romain Del Castillo (30) has left Stade Brestois to join La Liga side Osasuna. He has signed a two-year deal with the Spanish club.
Del Castillo has been a key player for Brest in recent seasons. Having joined the club back in 2021, he has gone on to make 151 appearances for the Breton club. In that time, he has scored 30 goals and registered 31 assists. The attacking midfielder was notably part of Brest’s extraordinary success story under Eric Roy. His contribution was significant in allowing Les Ty-Zéfs to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history.
As revealed by Get French Football News at the start of the summer, it was a possibility that the Frenchman would leave the club before the closure of the transfer window. On deadline day, that exit took form. He has joined Osasuna in a deal worth €1m plus up to another €450,000 in bonuses.
