Sevilla consider Isak Bjerkebo swoop

The board at La Liga outfit Sevilla are weighing up a late-window move for a member of the attacking ranks at Swedish side IK Sirius.

That’s according to market insider Fabrizio Romano, who highligths Isak Bjerkebo as the player in the sights of the Nervionenses.

Bjerkebo, for his part, is a 23-year-old Swedish attacker who chiefly operates on the left wing. The former youth international is in the midst of a stellar individual campaign in his home country to date, giving rise to 20 direct goal contributions in 18 league appearances.

These numbers have not gone at all unnoticed across the continent, with a whole host of clubs understood to be keeping a close eye on developments surrounding Bjerkebo’s future heading into the final days of the transfer window.

And as alluded to above, one such outfit come from La Liga, in the form of Sevilla. As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano:

‘Sirius midfielder Isak Bjerkebo is on Sevilla and PSV Eindhoven’s list ahead of the final days of the window. Contacts took place, and he could leave in the next days.’
