Barcelona receive transfer call from RB Leipzig
The board at La Liga champions Barcelona were recently contacted by their counterparts from German outfit RB Leipzig. This came with a view to gathering information on the terms of a potential deal for Marc Casadó.
Youngster Casadó is of course widely expected to bring a close to his stint in Blaugrana colours before the summer is out. Pushed further down the engine room pecking order in Hansi Flick’s squad following the recent arrival of Rodri, the 22-year-old has been informed that his services are no longer required in Catalunya’s capital.
Still held in high regard across the continent, Casadó, in turn, has garnered interest from a whole host of clubs over recent weeks.
And as alluded to above, over the last couple of days, a new suitor are understood to have positioned themselves in the race for the signature of the Spanish international.
As per a report from market insider Fabrizio Romano:
‘RB Leipzig among clubs calling Barcelona in the last 48h for Marc Casadó exit conditions. There are also Turkish clubs keen on the midfielder who’s gonna leave Barça soon.’
