OGC Nice’s Melvin Bard attracts Premier League interest
OGC Nice are looking to offload players before the closure of the transfer window. Mohamed-Ali Cho is nearing an exit, after Nice reached an agreement with Hull City for the French forward’s sale, whilst Salis Abdul Samed and Hicham Boudaoui are also being pushed towards the exit door.
However, given their financial situation, there are many more players who could leave between now and the end of the window, should there be concrete approaches. That applies to the likes of Antoine Mendy, Sofiane Diop, and Kojo Peprah Oppong, L’Équipe understands.
It also applies to Melvin Bard (25) and, according to a report from Foot Mercato, the left-back could make the trip across the Channel. The publication understands that the Frenchman will soon be the subject of a concrete approach from a Premier League club. Bard has played nearly 200 matches since joining from Olympique Lyonnais back in 2021, but his time at the Allianz Riviera could come to an end this month.
