The squad of players called upon by the coaching staff at Real Madrid for the club’s upcoming La Liga meeting with Real Sociedad has been unveiled online. And it again features a number of high-profile absentees.

Los Blancos are primed to return to action on Wednesday, in the club’s 2nd fixture of the new campaign. After battling past a game Espanyol this past weekend, José Mourinho and co. will take to the Santiago Bernabéu pitch for the first time this term, to lock horns with Real Sociedad.

Against Espanyol, Real were forced to do without the contributions of long-term injury absentees Rodrygo, Thiago Pitarch, Raúl Asencio and Éder Militão.

Also ruled out in the days leading up to the clash, though, were both Endrick and Aurélien Tchouaméni. And as alluded to above, over the 72 hours since, none have managed to recover sufficient fitness to be trusted for competitive action.

José Mourinho’s squad of players to face Real Sociedad was unveiled online on Tuesday afternoon, with all six of the aforementioned stars still nowhere to be seen.

Called up once again, in turn, were several breakthrough youngsters, including Mario Rivas, Jorge Cestero and Alexis Ciria.
