Como’s make new offer for Moise Kean and why transfer is on hold

Serie A side Como have been actively pursuing a move for Fiorentina’s Moise Kean and a new offer from the lakeside club has landed on La Viola’s table.

Get Italian Football News have already covered that an initial offer for Kean has already been rejected. Fiorentina were standing firm and wanted over €40 million to sell him.

Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Cesc Fabregas’ side have now put forward a figure of €40 million. This includes a base fee of €35 million and bonuses of €5 million.

Despite the offer being significant, the Florence side are yet to give a full approval. This is because they are awaiting the arrival of a possible replacement before letting Kean depart.

Como, at their end, are awaiting a response and expect to have it in the next 48 hours. This should give Fiorentina enough time to progress a move for a possible replacement, with Everton’s Beto constantly mentioned as an option that appeals to Fabio Paratici.
